Necklace taken from the painting "Spanish dancer", by Joan Miró, 1926. Made of a short chain with a central motif in matte silver and red cold enamel. Joidart is a family jewelry business based in Barcelona, Spain started by Jaume Julià in a small metalsmith shop in 1981. They make their jewelry conscientiously and locally, through processes that are as environmentally friendly as possible and produce all the pieces by hand in short runs. Utilizing artisanal jewelry-making techniques and following the Slow Crafts methodology, each manual process – soldering, polishing, scratching, enameling – is carried out calmly, allowing the jewelry the necessary time to achieve the desired finish. The charm of Barcelona inspires the jewelry and mirrors the creative spirit of the city. Pendant measures 1.5 x 1.5 in.
