Corda Macramé Trunk Show

de Young Museum Store - Free event admission
FRIDAY | OCTOBER 13 | 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Corda , meaning string, is a collection of jewelry and accessories rooted in the classic textile techniques of macramé, crochet, and weaving.

The designer behind Corda is Kelli Ronci. Her work is inspired by a life-long fascination with the meditative process of creating patterns and shapes through the magic of looping, knotting, wrapping, braiding and entwining strands of cord-like material.

Collections combine a wide range of fibers such as linen, hand-dyed silks, waxed cotton and nylon paracord, with wood, metal, semi-precious stone and recycled glass beads. Unique, elegant, stylish and sometimes whimsical, whether small or large, subtle or bold, each Corda piece makes a statement, striking that delicate balance between craft and design.
