Saturday, July 9 Café Terrace \ 9:30 am–4:30 pm

On Saturday, July 9, the de Young Museum Stores are thrilled to welcome back our second annual Summer Artisan Fair at the de Young, a one-day only outdoor shopping event situated on the Café terrace overlooking the de Young’s Osher Sculpture Garden. Twelve noted Bay Area artisans and designers will showcase their unique apparel, jewelry, accessories and home décor, allowing museum members and the general public to meet the makers and shop for superior quality artisan-made goods.

Proceeds from sales made during the event are shared between the artisans and the museums, meaning purchases not only supports the ongoing programing at the museums, but directly impacts the livelihoods of local and artisan-run small businesses in our community. This special store event will also coincide with the closing weekend of the de Young’s acclaimed exhibition, Alice Neel: People Come First.
