With its finely striped bands of varying widths and tones, this graphic design is a printed interpretation of the Japanese tradition of weaving scraps of old fabrics into sakiori textiles, from the word saku, to tear or rip, and oru, to weave. Chilewich's design team looked to antique sakiori textiles for inspiration and reimagined their intricate weave structures and lively lines in two dimensions with ink and paint. To clean, simply wipe with soap, water and a soft sponge or cloth. Scrub stubborn stains with a soft bristle-brush and a bleach-based cleanser. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Kid friendly.
