Inukshuk Trivet

This elegant ceramic trivet features artwork by artist Ben Houstie. His cultural background is Heilstuk and he was born in 1960 in Bella Bella, BC (Waglisla). Among other projects, he has painted drums and paddles for the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa and painted several reconstructed artworks for the Museum of Anthropology's 'The Transforming Image' exhibition, at the University of British Columbia in 2000.  This striking trivet is individually boxed and is made of ceramic with a cork backing and come with a hanger so can also be used as a decorative wall tile. Measures 6 x 6 in.
