Bauhaus Century Steel Watch

Best known for its designs of objects based on functionalism and simplicity, the Bauhaus school of design is the inspiration behind this timepiece designed with Denis Guidone. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the movement, this crafty watch with an elegant leather band perfectly encapsulates the Bauhaus spirit with cubes framed in a round case with a cubed crown for adjusting the time. Designed for Projects Watches by Denis Guidone. Guidone finds beauty in the inspiration that arises between different cultures. Through his design studio based in Milan and Tokyo, Guidone finds the contrasting elements between Eastern and Western cultures fascinating, as he merges the aesthetics of the two extremes with unconventional and strict precision into elegant, eye-catching work. A student of architecture, design and visual communication, he has received numerous accolades, including being appointed Ambassador of Italian Design and Culture from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Farnesina and "la Triennale di Milano.” Band measures 11 × 1.5 × .4 in. Watch face measures 1.57 in.
