Redon was in his sixties by the time the artistic community embraced his work. Late in life he reflected upon his shift from dark to light, writing, “If the art of an artist is the song of his life, a grave or sad melody, I must have sounded the note of gaiety in colour.” Twenty assorted blank notecards (5 each of 4 designs) with envelopes in a decorative box.
