Designed by Susan Kare, a pioneer of early computer graphic interface design, this set of four playful placemats were created on the Jacquard loom, an early example of computer-controlled machinery, operated with punched cards. These double-sided placemats celebrate the parallels between weaving and pixels; both rely on the idea of a grid spread across the surface of a medium. The reversible placemats are crafted from 100% organic cotton. Machine wash cold and lay flat to dry. Measures 19 x 14 in.
