Nymph Sculpture

This regal fiberglass Nymph sculpture is a replica of an ancient sculpture originally excavated in Pompeii and is thought to have been created during the 1st-4th century A.D, Rome. In antiquity, this sculpture served to protect the home and their occupants as nymphs were thought to be minor female gods who protected small realms of nature such as a small streams, trees, caverns, meadows, and beaches. Lightweight and a beautifully reflective surface, this sculpture is perfect to display in the home and makes a handsome gift for yourself or anyone who enjoys Roman history or artifacts. Measures 18.5 x 13.5 x 4.5 in.
