Printed in the USA. Comes boarded and wrapped in a clear sleeve. Includes information about the artwork. Measures 11 x 14 in.
Sargent and Spain at San Francisco's Legion of Honor museum is the first exhibition to explore the influence of Spanish culture on John Singer Sargent’s dynamic visual practice. The artist developed his passion for the country and its culture over the course of seven visits, taken from 1879 to 1912. Sargent’s powerful early oils—executed at Madrid’s Museo del Prado—mark the beginning of his long interest in Spain, its rich traditions, its people, and its magnificent urban and rural landscapes.
