Dr. Zahi Hawass, world-famous Egyptologist and former Egyptian Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, has made some of Egypt’s most significant archaeological discoveries, including a lost golden city in the Valley of the Kings. Dr. Hawass will sign copies of the Treasures of the Pharaohs catalogue, short guide, and children’s guide, which are exclusively available for purchase at the de Young Museum Store.
Exhibition tickets are not required for this event. Book-signing tickets will be distributed at the Admissions desk starting at 9:30 am on August 1. Space is limited. Please, no outside merchandise or items for signing.
