Published exclusively by the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, this boxed notecard set contains 20 notescards featuring four artworks, two by Alexander Calder and two by Pablo Picasso. The exhibition Calder-Picasso presents a compelling conversation between the works of two artists engaged in a lifelong exploration of modernity: Alexander Calder and Pablo Picasso. Working both abstractly and representationally, Calder and Picasso explored three fundamental components of art: line, volume, and void. Their works transformed our conceptions of form and space—and thus the very definition of art itself. Measures 5 x 7 in.
