Flaÿou’s handcrafted chess set features original designs with strong Berber influences, inspired by the traditional pottery of Tunisia’s Sejnane region. Each set is made entirely by hand using locally sourced clay, from extraction and shaping to outdoor firing, and finished in a brilliant neon blue with matching pieces. The complete set includes a terracotta board and pawns, a notebook about the collection, and bags for the pieces, all packaged in a distinctive pizza box. Care: wipe with a damp cloth. Measures: Board: 9 1/4″ L × 9 1/4″ W × 3/4″ H; Pizza box: 10 1/4″ L × 10 1/4″ W × 1 1/2″ H
