JAPANESE LANGUAGE ONLY
The How Manga is Made: ONE PIECE ONLY installation has an official catalog, which is available in Japanese language only. The catalog is a full-color, art book-style publication in a limited edition featuring gold foil stamping on gold-deposited paper. The book, like a gold nugget, is about the same size as Jump Comics. This catalogue has gold foil stamping on the gold aluminum metallized paper cover. The endpaper is also gold. Furthermore, the top, bottom, and edges of the main text are stamped with gold leaf (three-way gold). The goal was to create a book that looks like a block of gold by making the "dust" of hardbound books as thin as possible, which is usually 2 to 3 mm. There is a binding by Iria Oshima, who was in charge of designing the logo and main visuals for the installation.
Hardcover (W118mm x H179mm x D21mm), 192 pages.
