The Legion of Honor, a magnificent Beaux-arts building was designed by George Applegarth and opened in 1924 on a bluff in San Francisco’s Lincoln Park overlooking the Golden Gate. Celebrating its hundredth anniversary in 2024-2025, the Legion of Honor showcases European painting, sculpture, decorative arts, ancient art, graphic arts, and contemporary art. This charming necklace, finished with a lobster clasp closure, is the perfect keep sake from your visit to San Francisco and the Legion of Honor on the occasion of its' 100th birthday.
