This challenging 1,000-piece puzzle features Monet's painting The Japanese Footbridge. Monet's prized water garden, and the footbridge he built over it, became the subject of his most notable paintings and eventually his only focus. He began construction of the water garden as soon as he moved to Giverny in France. Monet diverted the water and remade the landscape with the same artistry he applied to his paintings; and then he used the garden, in turn, as his creative inspiration. As one of the most esteemed of all the French Impressionists, Monet's focus on his beloved garden resulted in a glorious body of work inseparable from its subject matter. Measures 25 x 20 in. 

Monet and Venice

Monet and Venice reunites and offers a fresh perspective on Claude Monet's Venetian paintings. Marking the first dedicated exploration of these works since their debut in 1912, the exhibition at San Francisco's de Young Museum features more than twenty of Monet's views of Venice along with related paintings, photographs, prints, and ephemera.
