Inspired by the intricate woven Huipil textiles of Guatemala, these statement fringe earrings combine a monotone top woven portion made from high light reflecting beads and a beautiful cascade of colorful fringe. The fringe incorporates geometric and floral patterns which are a nod to the symbolic motifs found in Huipiles. The beaded portion is hung from a stainless steel ball post.
These earrings are designed by Emily Wancier and are handwoven by her and her team of talented women artisans in Medellin, Colombia. Artisans receive fair working conditions and compensation for their skills. Exact bead tones may vary slightly depending on availability. Measures 3.75 x 1.25 in.
