This special edition memo book set celebrates San Francisco's landmark Golden Gate Bridge. The set contains three A6 memo books, each with 48 pages of ruled paper and features the bridge’s silhouette printed on its cover in the iconic International Orange. When the Golden Gate Bridge opened on May 27, 1937, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. It measured 1.7 miles long, with a 4,200-foot main span and two 746-foot towers supporting the structure at either end. The innovative engineering techniques used to build the bridge have allowed it to withstand hurricane- force winds, raging ocean currents, and the rumblings of the nearby San Andreas Fault. The Blackwing memo book set is a tribute to the Golden Gate Bridge and other engineering wonders of the modern world. Each book measures 4.13 x 5.8 in.
