Created by stitching together numerous aerial photographs, this view of San Francisco was taken in May 2020 and reproduces the large photo mural newly updated and installed in the de Young Museum's Hamon Tower on the 9th Floor observation deck. The photograph encompasses the entire City and County of San Francisco which includes Treasure Island to the east. The current aerial view mural replaces an earlier version originally installed when the de Young Museum opened it's landmark building in 2005.
