Grueby’s Garden Vase owes inspiration to the historic, late 19th century Grueby Faience Pottery, famous for symmetrical design, low relief leaves and flowers, and signature textured green glazes. Ephraim Faience Pottery innovative throwing technique results in an elegant, severe form that perfectly shows off masterful sculpture and flowing, rich glaze. Ephraim Faience Pottery is an American art pottery company founded in 1996 in Wisconsin by Kevin Hicks, specializing in pottery inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Each piece of pottery is hand-thrown and sculpted by one of their eight artisans and finished with Ephraim Pottery's in house-designed glazes. Comes with a company stamp on bottom. Due to the handmade nature of this product, slight variations in pattern are to be expected. Traditional earthenware art pottery is porous, liner recommended for use with water. Measures 12 x 7 in.
