Legion 100 Architectural Blueprint Sketchbook

The Legion of Honor museum celebrates the centennial of its founding in November 2024 with this exclusively created sketchbook featuring the original blueprints of the building on the cover. The California Palace of the Legion of Honor was founded in 1924 by Adolph B. and Alma de Bretteville Spreckels. Located in Lincoln Park in San Francisco overlooking the Golden Gate, the Legion of Honor has provided access to priceless art for nearly 100 years. The Museum, a replica of the Palais de la Légion d’Honneur in Paris, was accepted by the city and dedicated to the 3,600 Californian men who had died in World War I. Today, it houses European painting, sculpture, and decorative arts; ancient art; contemporary art; and one of the largest collections of prints and drawings in the country. The perfect keepsake to remember your time at the Legion of Honor during its' 100th birthday, this sketchbook is easy to take on-the-go to sketch the beauty that is all around you.
