3D printed vase. The Lukus vase is an exciting development in the continued investigation into the design languages of 3D printing. It is impossible to print the final shape of the Lukus vase. Instead, the Lukus begins as a simple shape with an algorithmic woven structure. After printing, artisans heat the form by hand to the point where it moves and flows like a piece of fabric. Then it is quickly moulded into its final shape before solidifying. The ruffled edges are a part of the moulding process, giving the Lukus vase a minimal organic feel. Wipe clean and wash with cool water and mild soap. Not dishwasher safe. Do not keep exposed to direct sunlight. There might be small irregularities in the surfaces/patterns due to the nature of 3D printing. These are not defects but are a normal part of this unique manufacturing process. Made in Montréal, Québec. Measures 7 x 7 x 7 in.
