Persimmon Ceramic Pottery Vase

This charming handmade persimmon vase, created and designed by Alex Curtis who is one of 8 master potters at Ephraim Faience Pottery, is a masterful blend of past and present inspiration. The piece is characterized by its sweeping high-relief sculpting and fruit-framing cutouts, which showcase the intersection of traditional and contemporary design elements. The flowing and expressive chestnut and indigo glazes, indicative of Ephraim’s art pottery, are complemented by the precise sprayed glazes that accent the persimmons. This anniversary design encapsulates both enduring tradition and forward-thinking experimentation, making it a stand-out piece. Ephraim Faience Pottery is an American art pottery company founded in 1996 in Wisconsin by Kevin Hicks, specializing in pottery inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Each piece of pottery is hand-thrown and sculpted by one of their eight artisans and finished with Ephraim Pottery's in house-designed glazes. Comes with a company stamp on bottom. Due to the handmade nature of this product, slight variations in pattern are to be expected. Traditional earthenware art pottery is porous, glass liner recommended for use with water. Measures 8 x 6 in.
