The de Young Museum Store has commissioned renowned manga artist Gengoroh Tagame to create an original drawing in celebration of the exhibition and San Francisco Pride. Best known for his contributions to gay erotic manga, Tagame’s work explores themes of love between men, identity, and the challenges of coming out. The commissioned artwork, titled "Tomorrow", features two men wearing and holding shirts with “Marriage Equality” and “PRIDE” messages, alongside the LGBTQ+ flag.
