In his down-to-earth block prints, William S. Rice elegantly portrays the North American landscape in all its glory. In 1900, the Pennsylvania-born artist set out west across the continent, finding inspiration in its snow-covered peaks, forests, wildlife, and cozy homesteads. From dramatic mountain ranges to sleepy-eyed owls, these scenes were the primary subjects for his photography, sketches, and paintings, and later they became the basis for his block prints. Share the wintry beauty of the American West with the 4 images collected for this notecard set. Set includes 20 assorted holiday cards (5 each of 4 designs) with soft white envelopes.
