The Jugendstil design of this ceramic tiles is based on one of the stylized flowers by Gustav Marisch, published by the Wiener Werkstätte circa 1912.Motawi tiles are striking art pieces and installation accents. Framed with oak, each tile is made by hand and with heart in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tiles are 5/8 in. thick and have a notch at the back for hanging.  Actual tile size is approximately 5 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. Every tile is hand-glazed and embossed on the back for authenticity. At approximately 5/8 inches thick, every tile has a notch in the back for hanging unframed. Made in the USA. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth using mild soap. Ceramic with solid wood frame. Measures 6 x 8 in.
