Handmade in Northern California by Lony Maya Neubauer, this ceramic cup incorporates mid-century modern and abstract designs with vivid and vibrant colors, with crisp lines. Speaking about her beautiful and functional ceramics, Neubauer says "The connection I create between the ceramic piece and collector is essential to me. There is a moment during the creative process, I feel when the vessel is ready, where I visualize the final piece, which will be used on the table or rest on the mantel as décor. That moment is indefinite, forever, and is satisfying in every way as a creative." Measures 3 x 3.5 in.
This exclusive design was created in celebration of The de Young Open 2023 exhibition featuring artwork from the nine Bay Area counties.
